Tainted Souls captivated me right away with its unique world and kept me reading because I needed to know what was actually going on. Humans, vampires, witches, politics, secrets, betrayals... every time I thought I had something figured out, another piece of the puzzle showed up. Penn City feels dark, dangerous, and like everything is one bad decision away from total chaos. Seraph is tough, stubborn, and carrying around enough baggage to fill an airport. And Revenant? Let's just say I'm going to need more of him in book two.
